More random thoughs

So, the date to be finished with Handle with Care is in 10 days. I have a lot to read before then! 

The discovery channel is really interesting. That's another thing I like about New York...Cash Cab. xD

I love Morning Glory. I can't get enough of this stuff. For some reason, this time I especially love all the note books and stuff. Haha. =D I also like pinkfoot, even though I can't read any of it. It's cute!

But there isn't

Not today

So, we looked at a couple of apartments that are owned by our previous landlord, and...no. The first one was so rediculously small it could fit in this small motel room...with motel room left over. The second one was large by comparison...but still very small. And the building...oh my gawd. It was three stories, with an elevator "that's going to be fixed!" and they had little balconies...that looked rotten. I wouldn't step out on one of those things. It was in an area of San Jose that's not wise to go outside at night in.  

I don't have good feelings about either one, and I don't think this is what we're destined to "settle" for. We're not going to settle again, and live in misery like we did months ago, crammed in with a bunch of boxes we have no room to unpack, and no way to walk around without bumping into everything because there's just no room. We want to find a place where we can get our things out of storage - or at least out of the unit they're in, because we can't afford to pay that every month. We may be in the car until we find something, but guess what? It's better than renting from a guy who thinks that just because you're homeless, you're stupid. He thinks he's our only option; he doesn't know that.

So, the search continues. We'll know when we find something that's right for us, and what we saw today wasn't it.
